It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything with this site. But I’ve been doing a lot of repairs that folks might find useful. So, rather than bore my friends with instant messages or rarely post anything on Facebook, I figure here’s a good place to bore random visitors. You’re welcome!
For instance, here’s a Yamaha CS-40m program board I’m working on. The power supply was shot due to something yet undiagnosed that was drawing too much current. IC8 is a common culprit, and that did help. But I think the tantalums have gone bad and probably other ICs have also gone bad.
Anyway, this is more of a test post. I’ll be updating this more as time goes on.
